Spain floods: death toll reaches 158

Severe flash floods in Spain has killed at least 158 people, as they swept through parts of eastern Spain – destroying buildings, submerging streets and trapping people under the rubble.

The extent of the destruction is so great it can be seen from space. The Spanish Prime Minister – visiting some of the worst hit areas in Valencia – said the most important thing was to save as many lives as possible.
