Deadly Israeli strike on Gaza shelter for displaced people kills at least 90

More deadly strikes in Gaza leave scores dead, as many of Israel’s allies ask what will happen if UNRWA, the UN agency that has provided essential services for Palestinians for almost eight decades is banned.

The US has tried to restrain Israel’s bombing campaign after the October 7th attacks but so far failed.

Today alone Gaza officials say more than 90 people were killed, 20 of them children, in an Israeli airstrike on a building sheltering displaced people in the northern town of Beit Lahiya. A strike that the US State Department described as a “horrifying incident with a horrifying result.”
