‘They don’t want peace’ – Israelis on prospect of Hezbollah war

The United States lent its hand to support for a ceasefire at the UN in New York. But with the other it was shaking on an $8.7 billion arms deal with Israel’s ministry of defence.

That news will be welcomed by the 100,000 displaced Israelis here who believe a ground invasion of Lebanon will ultimately allow them to return to their homes. We’ve been speaking to some of them near the northern border.
