‘Corruption is genocide’ – Kenya’s Gen Z protester taking on the government

In Kenya, a protest movement spearheaded by Gen Z is taking on the political elite. 75% of the population is under 35.

They’re disillusioned by record levels of youth unemployment and what they see as a corrupt political system, and their call for real change has rattled the President.

The movement began organically without a leader, but a young, well dressed, charismatic young man has emerged as a leading voice.
