Government opens £15m funding pot for primary schools to open nurseries
A £15 million funding pot has been launched, to help open up to 300 nurseries in primary schools in England.
It’s the first part of a government plan to create the 70,000 additional places needed to give eligible families the 30 hours a week of free childcare they’ve been promised from next September.
Labour’s now in a race to see if it can keep that pledge.
