UK to suspend some arms exports to Israel, says Foreign Secretary

The Foreign Secretary David Lammy has suspended some arms sales to Israel.

He said there was a clear risk that Israel could use some equipment in violation of international humanitarian law in the Gaza conflict.

The sales ban applies to some components for military aircraft, helicopters and drones and amounts to about 10% of the UK’s export licences to Israel.
